Reflections and Advice from Jesse Papia, Price Alumna

Alright, I’m going to get the bad news out of the way: I, Jesse Papia, alumna of the Price School of Public Policy, am unemployed as of September 4, 2012.

Phewf. Ok. That wasn’t so hard. Now for the better news.

I just – as in, on Friday, August 31st – finished an amazing fellowship experience with Education Pioneers in Los Angeles. As part of my fellowship, I worked with Leadership for Educational Equity (LEE) and developed strategies for increasing member participation and advocacy. For ten weeks, I was able to meet other advocates and leaders in education reform, and learn from the other brilliant fellows in my cohort.
